HOTEL LIST

This list is compiled to guide you to the closet lodging in relationship to Knight's Action Park - Caribbean Water Adventure and Route 66 Drive In Theatre, all located at 1700 Recreation Drive in Springfield, IL (see map). The attractions are located just south of Interstate 72 and East of Chatham Road, on Springfield's Southwest side.

If you are looking at a brochure on Springfield, what they call Southeast Lodging is just the next exit down the Interstate - Off Stevenson Drive. There are quite a few restaurants in the area, too. The 6th Street exit is the one you would normally take to get to the park. The Route 4 exit is the next exit west. This area is where most of the shopping and restaurants have migrated to after White Oaks Mall was built in the area in the middle 70's.

I consider all of good quality and may make a few comments along the way. The intent is not to show every room in Springfield - but just those closest to the park. I will then follow up with the closest campgrounds. Starting with the closest -
